Here are my cuties at the lake for a day of sun, boating and food. We had a lot of fun with our friends, the Sisks, and got some great wakeboarding in without getting killed :)!

Jerry finally makes first grade! (done with his apprenticeship)

Jerry finally made first grade with the fire department, which means that he is done with his 3 year apprenticeship! He can finally be lazy at the station in the recliners while ordering the newbies around (not really :) The picture of the helmets is significant because until they have completed the 3 years, they have a red helmet. The black one symbolizes his rank in the department. I am so proud...can ya tell? :) -sorry, having problems uploading pics...will soon!

Poor Gracie was SO tired that when I brought her in from the car, she just knelt down in this position right inside the door and fell asleep!!!

So this is how Jerry and I spent our actual anniversary...someone else's reception in the same place we had our Utah reception! (weird, huh?) and with our kids :) Notice Weston's wandering eye to the empty plate of food :)

We have joined the flock of sheep and created a blog! Now we can be cool too.

So we finally are doing the "cool" thing and are creating a blog. It looks like a great way to stay in touch without sending out a ton of emails! I loved seeing Ben & Danielle's and then seeing old friends that also have blogs. Anyways...The Gishes...Where do I begin? Jerry and I just celebrated our 7 year anniversary and it hardly seems real...it's been a long time! We are having a great time here in Denver, and have REALLY enjoyed having family close by...something we thought we never would have (that is if Ben can finally get his act together and move here already!) Just kidding. We have 2 kids: Gracie almost 4 years and little handsome (if I do say so myself) Weston 6 months. Jerry is enjoying finally making 1st grade after 3 long years of apprenticeship at the fire department, so he is sitting back in the recliners at the station making life hard for some other boot (not really) :) So, enjoy the pics and the blogs; we'll try to keep them up to date.
